The big moving day is here! After 44 days of travel and preparation, Korea, here we come!
During the past 44 days we were blessed to be able to spend time with family, and take in as much of America possible. While the journey was a long one, we figured soaking up the states wouldn’t be such a bad thing since we’ll be gone for two years.
Along the way we visited 18 of the United States: Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Montana, Idaho, and Washington!
Here are a few pictures from our adventures:
Pippa is such a good passenger while Mike takes the long shifts driving!
We walked the Bob Kerrey Bridge for the first time together and stood in Iowa and Nebraska at the same time!
Kissin’ in two states!
Then after we spent the evening exploring the Road to Omaha.
I found the Kennedys, of course!
Off to see the Presidents..
All the State flags represented in front of George and the boys!
Mount Rushmore!!
Off to Montana!
Where we were able to meet up with our wonderful friend, Alli!
Then to Idaho..
A day spent in Seattle
A little R&R before the big flight.
We had to get a candy apple in Seattle in honor for our last day in ‘Merica!
So our last American adventure was fun in Seattle…
Then we finally made it to Korea!
