The first month goes by so quickly, but so slowly at the same time; as I am sure will apply to her entire life. As a family, we learned a lot. Learning what different cries mean, how to nurse, that nursing is {hard}, not all pacis are created equal, mom labeled everything for a reason, you always need more diapers, tears bring more tears, smiles erase the tears and the sweet moments make everything worth it!
This month brought on a lot of firsts:
Avera’s first smile.
And she kept smiling.
The laughs are just the best!
Pippa has been the best big sister!
Mom and dad managed to get some feet prints in for sisters. It’s just perfect!
First full family outing.
First Fiend event.
Her first bath.
She loves the bath so we keep taking them!
Avera met her Lollie and Blue.
They came to help us this first month.
Her first trip to Seoul was a success!
She even joined us at the table for Vatos lunch.
Mom and Avera experiencing Dad being away for the first time… we’ll never get used to it!
Proving she’s still our baby too, Pippa decided she also needed a carseat.
Mom’s bow addiction is ok because Avera looks so cute!
She likes to Patty-Cake!
We both like getting out of the house.
And little girl loves the sun.
Taking and falling asleep with a pacifier is cause for celebration!
We learned she can and will take a bottle 🙂 this is Daddy giving her her first bottle.
She can sleep the entire night when she wants. Current record: 7 hours 40 minutes.
She makes the best faces!
We managed to get 3 week pictures too.
