Avera’s first Christmas is here already and it couldn’t have been more of a whirlwind! In the midst of her turning 9 months, us packing out and Mike’s busy work schedule, Christmas wasn’t as traditional as usual. Of course we made the most of it and had a blast as a family anyway!
We spent the weekend of Christmas caroling with the Fiends, having brunch with friends, watching Christmas movies and baking cookies.

The tradition of Christmas cookies was a must!
And nontraditional Korean chicken boxes for Christmas Eve dinner.
Christmas Day we FaceTimed with family, opened a few [never] wrapped presents and enjoyed the uneventful day together.
We couldn’t get one picture of all 4 family members looking so we took some solo shots.
We did get this one with the trusty selfie-stick.

Avie thought Pippa needed her help.
And both of the girls thought Daddy needed help with his present 🙂
Which was a saddle for daddy-back-rides for Avie!
Many cookies were eaten, memories made and Avera’s first Christmas is going down in the books as a win!
